List of know bugs and links to solutions
A "bug" is any software or hardware problem with your computer.
Before you submit a bug report, please check the following list of known bugs.
If you find your bug on the list, follow the link for a fix or a work around.
Bug or problem description
Solution or explanation
1. Spelling software: I insert the spelling CD into the drive, but nothing happens.
2. Spelling software: I've installed Personal Best Spelling but the program looks funny on the screen, and has lines running across it.
3. Spelling software: My program says "Unregistered version", so what do I do now?
4. Spelling software: How do I find and install all those word lists that are supposed to come with my registered version of Personal Best Spelling?
5. Spelling software: My computer crashed (or I have a new computer). How can I re-install the software (or how can I get the software onto my new computer)?
6. Spelling software: Problem with word lists—last letter of last word drops off.
7. Spelling software: Error message says ,"The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications ...." or similar statement.
8. Spelling software: The spelling program contains a spelling error—"it's" should be "its"!
9. CD ROM: I put the CD into the drive but nothing happens.
  1. If your bug is different from any of the above, please proceed to fill in the bug report form and press the "SUBMIT" button.
  2. Your bug report should normally receive a reply within 24 hours.
  3. If questions remain you will be contacted and further information might be requested.
  4. After that, if the problem cannot be resolved and if it is appropriate (please check our refund policy), you can request a refund.

Describe the bug in greater detail:
The description should at least contain the following information to be useful:
  1. The exact steps to reproduce the problem, i.e, what were you doing immediately before the bug appeared?
  2. Any error message(s) displayed on the screen (copy the message exactly).

 

 

Describe what steps, if any, you have already taken to try to fix the problem (e.g., re-installing, downloading the file again).
